Golf Las Vegas

 Golf Anyone? Hole 9 Whether you're a weekender playing 18 so you can chill on 19, or actual PGA pro (that likes to chill on 19), Las Vegas does not lack on choices of where to hit the greens. I am far from anything 'pro', can't really claim the weekender spot quite yet, but I definitely like to chill at the 19th hole, it's where I do my best work! That being said, I do enjoy swinging the club and yelling at the ball to get in the hole, so here are a few highlights and tons of lowlights of some of my rounds around the valley.                                                                                                           Chimera Golf Club This course is just shy of 7,000 yards, set in a desert landscape with magnificent views of the Las Vegas strip. Love in Las Vegas...

          

Well, it's that time of year when love is in the air, romance is warming our heart, bling is blinding and Hallmark is winning. But seriously, romance is NOT dead! It's human nature to want to feel special, so why not do Valentine's Day in Las Vegas? 

Sin City offers a multitude of options for you and your sweetheart to enjoy. More than just bars and casinos, you can experience different cities, countries, cultures, theme rides, Broadway shows, magic shows, a haunted museum, endless shopping, and an absolute must, fine dining. 

Bouchon Las Vegas, inside the beautiful Venetian Resort, offers a dining experience that leaves an imprint for the ages. The numerous accolades Chef Thomas Keller has received for creating this amazing environment becomes your reward! Chef Peter Clark operates the Vegas location and he has magnificently maintained the vision for this classic French bistro.

With indoor and outdoor dining, the atmosphere is romantic but lively. An extensive wine and cocktail list  complements the mouth-watering menu that includes daily specials, Chef's favorite staples as well as a raw bar. This well designed bistro is a 'hallmark' we can get behind. Hand-painted murals by French artist Paulin Paris mixed with the true cultural vibe is just the right amount of understated ambience. Sweet, authentic, festive, and definitely not stuffy! 

Once you've licked each other's fingers after desert, take time to walk through the Venetian Resort. Maybe take a gondola ride to heighten those romantic flames, or see a show like the one at Atomic Saloon and take a photo by the LOVE sign then share your pics here with me!

I do recommend reservations for Bouchon and the gondola rides. Bouchon has a pretty large bar, so if you want to try a different experience, it is well worth a seat there! And if you don't want to glide across the Venetian waters while being serenaded, no need to worry. There are plenty of options throughout the resort for you to sneak a kiss, take a photo and fall in love...Vegas style.
